He joked that he only gets on the ice nowadays to chase my kids. Byfuglien wasn't the only retired NHL player at the competition. Kenora's own homeboy, Mike Richards, a two-time Stanley Cup champion, finished third in the overall standings with his brother, proving hockey skills could well be translated to the water.
