Tonight after yet another collapse by Connor Hellebuyck he has made history with an unfortunate streak.

Over the last several games Connor Hellebuyck has struggled mightily being pulled for his performance earlier in the series.
Tonight with the Jets looking to clinch their first round series and move on in the Stanley Cup Playoffs everyone was expecting a bounce back from Hellebuyck.
Instead, he has turned in another terrible performance against the Blues giving up 5 goals in two periods.
After finishing out the second period for the Jets Hellebuyck was ultimately pulled for a third game in a row in favor of Comrie.
With this terrible performance Hellebuyck has all but guaranteed his team will have to play a winner take all game seven and made history along the way.

Connor Hellebuyck Goes In The History Books After Terrible Road Stretch

After giving up the fourth goal of the game Hellebuyck officially became the third goalie in Stanley Cup Playoffs history to give up 4 goals or more in 7 straight road games.
This streak now lands him on an unfortunate list of goaltenders who could not handle hostile environments when the lights are the brightest.
Luckily for the Jets, the decisive game 7 will be played in Winnipeg after the Jets won the President's Trophy and secured the top seed in the playoffs.
If the Jets are going to even make the second round Hellebuyck needs to get back on track fast and find a way to keep his team in the game going forward.
