Former Canucks coach Rick Tocchet is in high demand, and the Philadelphia Flyers are hot on his tail, reportedly listing him as being at the top of their list. Philadelphia, we talked the last pod about Rick Tocchet, the feeling that he's their number one guy, and I still believe that. But I will say this, there seems to be a growing belief that he will consider television next season, Friedman said. There seems to be the belief that he will consider TV next year if the overall landscape isn't as he wants it. After his arduous season in Vancouver, there is speculation that he might be experiencing some level of burnout. It is not known if the Flyers can convince him to get behind the bench in Philadelphia, or if he will go another way, maybe back into broadcasting. Either way, the next few weeks and months are shaping up to be very interesting with all of the coaching vacancies around the league.
