During today's media availability the Vancouver Canucks front office addressed the future of several Canucks stars including polarizing forward Elias Pettersson.

The afternoon began with Canucks President of Hockey Operations Jim Rutherford causing concern for Quinn Hughes' future with the team.
After addressing Hughes' future, the front office continued to make statements on the status of other star players, including Brock Boeser and even Elias Pettersson.
Throughout the season no player had been more controversial on the Canucks roster than Elias Pettersson during his feud with J.T. Miller.
Despite surviving the feud and being kept over Miller the Canucks have never officially confirmed the future for Pettersson to their fans.
This afternoon, Patrik Allvin took the podium and was asked whether the team was still considering moving on from Elias Pettersson and completely reshaping their roster for the future.

Patrik Allvin Confirms The Vancouver Canucks Are Willing To Explore An Elias Pettersson Trade

When asked about Pettersson's future with the team Allvin was noncomittal about keeping the Canucks most notable forward and admitted all of the options are open this summer.
While this doesn't necessarily mean the Canucks are looking to offload Pettersson it does mean that they have now opened up the door for trade speculation throughout the offseason.
Of course, the Canucks expect a massive offseason from Pettersson and for him to be back and better than ever next season.
However, if an offer comes around that the Canucks cannot refuse we could see a drastically new core group representing the Vancouver Canucks on the opening night of the 2025-26 season.
As new reports come out regarding the Canucks offseason plans and Pettersson's future in Vancouver we will pass them along to you.
