Quinn Hughes' agent Pat Brisson directly blames Canucks front office for poor management after recent trade
In the aftermath of the Quinn Hughes to the Minnesota Wild trade Hughes' agent Pat Brisson has spoken out and directly placed blame upon the organization for the outcome.
The Vancouver Canucks made the shocking decision to trade Quinn Hughes to the Minnesota Wild for a package of picks and prospects earlier this weekend.
Since the trade, reports have surfaced confirming that Hughes had told the Canucks organization that he was going to refuse to re-sign with the team beyond his current contract.
This stance from Hughes forced the Canucks to seek a trade ultimately ending in the Minnesota landing spot.
As a result, Hughes was dealt to the Wild with young star defenseman Zeev Buium, forwards Liam Ohgren and Marco Rossi coming back the Canucks officially beginning the team's rebuild.
Now, Hughes agent Pat Brisson spoke to the media and admitted the whole situation was avoidable if the Canucks had not been so careless and irresponsible in their management of the team.
