Four teams linked to Canucks superstar Elias Pettersson as trade deadline chatter picks up

There are at least four teams per NHL analyst David Pagnotta that Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson could be dealt to as the trade deadline is now less than a week away.
With the trade deadline now just days away, the Vancouver Canucks could once again be gearing up to make multiple moves.
They've already made two significant trades this year, sending captain and former Norris Trophy winner Quinn Hughes to the Minnesota Wild and then trading Kiefer Sherwood to the divisional foe San Jose Sharks.
There are still multiple other players who could soon be on the move out of Vancouver, who are in the NHL basement once again.
Even though names like Conor Garland, Evander Kane and Jake DeBrusk have been thrown around as potential trade candidates, another name is Elias Pettersson, who still has several years left on his deal with an AAV (average annual value) of just under $12 million.
Per a report from NHL analyst David Pagnotta, there are at least four teams that Pettersson could be traded to before Friday, and they include the Seattle Kraken, Los Angeles Kings, Detroit Red Wings and Carolina Hurricanes.

The trade deadline is March 6.
Elias Pettersson Has Been Embroiled In Trade Rumours For Months Now
Pettersson, who was taken with the fifth overall pick by the Canucks in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, has spent his entire career in a Canucks sweater.
His talent was evident when he produced 102 points (39G, 63A) just three years ago and followed that up with 89 points (34G, 55A).
But his point totals have dropped in the last two years, during which the team around him also struggled.
It may be best for Pettersson to have a change of scenery, and that could come in just days.
