Tonight in a new interview former Vancouver Canucks forward Jannik Hansen ripped into Brock Boeser for not being able to step up since the trade deadline.

The Vancouver Canucks decided to keep Brock Boeser at the trade deadline despite numerous reports he would be traded to a new home.
After trading away J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers the Canucks needed other big-name forwards to step up and play at their best to fill the gaps left by that loss.
One of the players expected to step up the most was Boeser who now was in most people's eyes the Canucks second most talented forward.
Instead of stepping up to the challenge Boeser has regressed and his play has been at an all-time low since the deadline.
With Boeser struggling and the Canucks on the verge of potentially missing the playoffs former Vancouver Canuck Jannik Hansen has taken it upon himself to call out Boeser publicly.

Former Vancovuer Canuck Forward Rips Into Brock Boeser

In a new interview with Sportsnet former Canucks forward Jannik Hansen spoke about the play of the Canucks since the trade deadline.
In particular Hansen focused in on the struggles of Boeser calling him out for demanding star money while not performing at a star type level.
While Hansen's comments are harsh considering he used to play for the organization he isn't wrong Boeser has been a shell of himself since J.T. Miller left for New York and has continually shown why no one traded for him at the trade deadline.
Luckily for Boeser there is still time to get back on track recently he has been paired up with Elias Pettersson which seems to be a good thing for both of the Canucks best players.
If Boeser can get things heading in a positive direction over the last stretch of the season and help the Canucks clinch a playoff spot he might be able to raise his stock again.
Over the next couple of weeks all eyes will be on Boeser to see if he can rebound and come up clutch when the Canucks need him most or if his tenure in Vancouver will end in disappointment.
