The Canucks revealed prices for next season during a pre-sale, and it appears it's going to be very hard to get in under $100 a ticket, leaving fans furious. Vancouver Canucks single-game tickets go on sale to the general public this Thursday, August 7, and some fans got a sneak peek at the cost in their season ticket member advance pre-sale. Entering Rogers Arena on the cheap for less than $100 is now a rarity. Only five games, against Buffalo, the Islanders, San Jose, Dallas, and Anaheim, had get-in prices under that amount. The cheapest ticket available was $95. Ticket costs soar for marquee games. The home opener game against Calgary on October 9 begins at $147, Montreal on October 25 is at least $219, and the Leafs game on January 31 begins at $243, with one upper-level ticket even priced as high as $771.

Loading from Twitter ...

Most of the lower-priced segments have been sold out, but additional tickets will go on sale Thursday to the general public. Early access, however, is available on Wednesday, August 6, to people who register for the Canucks Priority Access List. Season ticket holders receive per-game discounts, and while quarter-season packs are no longer being sold to new customers, the team is now offering partial plans, which are two different eight-game packages for around $1,022. Fans were angered this spring after the team did not qualify for the playoffs following a decent 2023-24. Poor play in the home stadium only exacerbated frustration, with Vancouver sporting the sixth-poorest home mark in the league. Its going to be a tough sell to get people to fork over that kind of money in this economy. Who would pay those exorbitant prices for tickets, parking, beer, food etc. to see a team as lousy as the Canucks are sure to be this year. No improvement on the ice, only a downward spiral to last place in their division. I prefer to watch on TV. Not paying all that money for a team with no stars. - Angry fans' comments While there is hope for the future in 2025-26, Elias Pettersson will need to have his mojo restored, Thatcher Demko will have to remain healthy, and a second-line centre will need to be added in the mix, and the Canucks could then be in the playoffs again.

Loading from Twitter ...

And win or lose, fans will get to enjoy improved comfort, as Rogers Arena is installing new seats with more than 18,000 of them featuring cupholders to replace the original 1995 chairs.
