Tonight, a new mock trade has been made public that would send Quinn Hughes to the New Jersey Devils in a blockbuster mock trade.

With Rutherford admitting that Quinn Hughes has expressed interest in playing with his brothers, Jack and Luke, this story has picked up a ton of steam.
Of course, Jack and Luke Hughes are already on the same team, the New Jersey Devils.
With this in mind, the most likely path for the brothers to play together in the NHL is a trade sending Quinn to New Jersey.
While this is still incredibly unlikely to happen, it has not stopped media members and fans from coming up with creative mock trades to reunite the brothers.

Vancouver Canucks Trade Quinn Hughes To The Devils In New Mock Trade

In a new article put together by Bleacher Report the Vancouver Canucks and New Jersey Devils do the impossible and agree to a trade sending Quinn East to New Jersey.
In the trade the Devils would land Quinn while the Vancouver Canucks would receive defenseman Dougie Hamilton.
TO NEW JERSEY: Quinn Hughes
TO VANCOUVER: Dougie Hamilton

While this trade likely would not convince the Canucks to give up Hughes the Bleacher Report team does have an intriguing argument.
Hamilton feels like the kind of defenseman Rutherford and general manager Patrik Allvin would ask for. He's a mobile guy who can score. He's a little older than Hughes and he's got an injury history that has to be taken into account, but he's still a great player, and reliable, and that could soften the blow of losing your Norris Trophy-winning captain.

Alright, it won't, but the Canucks could try to sell it that way, anyway, both to the team and to the press. I won't mince words here: I like Hamilton and the way he approaches the game, so I don't think this trade would suck for either side.

It likely would take a significantly larger offer by the Devils to pry Quinn away and reunite him with his brothers, potentially even involving New Jersey's 2nd overall pick, Simon Nemec.
As this situation continues to play out we will provide any and all updates regarding the potential future of the Hughes brothers joining forces.
