J.T. Miller was a huge pickup for the Rangers last season, but now, fans aren't too impressed with him after his slow start to the new season. Last season, J.T. Miller was a huge part of the locker room issues and rift that tore through the Vancouver Canucks, so much so that the team needed to move him to split up he and Elias Pettersson. The trade returned Miller to the New York Rangers, and after ending the 2024/25 campaign in red-hot form, he was named the captain of the Original Six franchise as they look to rebound and get back into the Stanley Cup Playoffs. <h3>Fans show frustration with captain J.T. Miller</h3> Unfortunately, there's been plenty of frustration in their start to the new season, with the Rangers going 3-4-1 this season, as all three of those victories have come away from home, with Miller <a href='https://clutchpoints.com/nhl/new-york-rangers/rangers-news-jt-miller-brutally-honest-4th-straight-home-loss' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>addressing the frustration</a>. We have to find a way to bear down in those tight 2-1 games when, let's be honest, we didn't deserve to win. But that was a game we could've stolen. It's happened to us so far. Not good enough, we know that. Turn the page and move on to the next one. <div align='center' class='pl20 pr20'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/snyrangers/status/1980452756566532201'><div style='border:1px solid #CCCCCC;border-radius:10px;padding:20px;width:300px;'>Loading from Twitter ...</div></a></blockquote></div> Miller is clearly trying to stay positive despite the struggles, but fans on social media aren't quite as optimistic, with many expressing their frustrations over his leadership to start the year. <div align='center' class='pl20 pr20'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/NYR_Joseph/status/1980531580226662648'><div style='border:1px solid #CCCCCC;border-radius:10px;padding:20px;width:300px;'>Loading from Twitter ...</div></a></blockquote></div> <div align='center' class='pl20 pr20'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/SSmilax/status/1980453774784397416'><div style='border:1px solid #CCCCCC;border-radius:10px;padding:20px;width:300px;'>Loading from Twitter ...</div></a></blockquote></div> <div align='center' class='pl20 pr20'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/PorkChopsAgain/status/1980577363860881857'><div style='border:1px solid #CCCCCC;border-radius:10px;padding:20px;width:300px;'>Loading from Twitter ...</div></a></blockquote></div> <div align='center' class='pl20 pr20'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/DartMVP/status/1980456412556951748'><div style='border:1px solid #CCCCCC;border-radius:10px;padding:20px;width:300px;'>Loading from Twitter ...</div></a></blockquote></div> Unsurprisingly, most have called out Miller for quitting on his team in Vancouver a season ago, and now, that idea has crept into the heads of Rangers fans, and while there's plenty of season to go, things aren't looking too good right now.
