Sabres announcer Rob Ray takes a shot at Stuart Skinner after embarrassing performance
Tonight, during the Edmonton Oilers loss to the Buffalo Sabres analyst for the Sabres Rob Ray roasted Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner.
The Edmonton Oilers once again have gotten off to a troubling start to the season due to underperforming defense and goaltending.
Tonight, that was on full display as the Oilers were purely dominated by the Buffalo Sabres losing 5-1.
Throughout the game, Skinner gave up several goals that had fans and analysts shaking their heads.
Late in the game, the Oilers and head coach Kris Knoblauch emptied the net in an attempt to tie things up.
With the net empty, Sabres analyst Rob Ray took the opportunity to roast Stuart Skinner.

As the Oilers' pulled Skinner for the extra attacker the Sabres announcer Dan Dunleavy took note of the empty Oilers net.
Analyst Rob Ray quickly replied taking a shot at Skinner saying the Oilers' net has been empty all night long.
This comment is yet another embarrassing moment for the Edmonton Oilers and Stuart Skinner as the team continues to try and find their way back to contender status.
Skinner after the loss to the Sabres drops to 7-5-3 on the year with a 2.86 goals against average and a 0.889 save percentage both of which would be career lows over a full NHL season.
With this awful performance from Skinner, it will be interesting to see if Stan Bowman's urgency to find a new goaltender intensifies at all or if they remain committed to Stuart Skinner and Calvin Pickard.
