Potential Edmonton Oilers Third Jersey Leaked in Social Media Post

Earlier this week, reports indicated that the Edmonton Oilers would be releasing a new third jersey for the first time since Fanatics took over from Adidas.

The Oilers over the last couple of seasons have operated with just their home and away jerseys but that will be changing at some point this season as the team will introduce an alternate jersey.

This evening, a new post on X from Paul Almeida, has apparently leaked what the new jersey will look like.

The post on X by Almeida, showcases a white jersey with blue script spelling out Oilers as well as blue and orange shoulders.

The photo caused a frenzy on social media and one fan asked Tom Gazzola, who originally reported the team would be a getting a new uniform, if the leaked jersey was in fact accurate.

Gazzola confirmed that from his sources this does in fact seem to be the Oilers upcoming third jersey.

In addition, Gazzola recently announced that the team as of now is expected to debut the third jersey in January.

Since this leak surfaced the opinion on the new uniform has been mixed with plenty of people loving the look while others were hoping for something more creative.

Now, it will be up to the Edmonton Oilers to confirm or deny if these are truly the new third uniform for the team in 2025-26.
