Frank Seravalli says the Tristan Jarry storm is overblown, and Edmonton is still tied to a $5.375 million bet in net through 2027-28.
Jarry is 30, a 2013 second-round pick by Pittsburgh, and his contract came over with no retention when the Oilers made their December swing for a crease reset.
That matters because this is not just gossip. It is roster construction, cap allocation, and deadline math wrapped into one crease problem.
