Oilers' Leon Draisaitl was not in a good mood after his team got routed 6-2 by the Bruins, and he did not hold back in his post-game comments.
David Pastrnak led the way as the Bruins beat the Edmonton Oilers 6-2 at Rogers Place, ending their six-game losing streak.
Pastrnak scored two goals and assisted on another, as Hampus Lindholm and Elias Lindholm each registered a goal and an assist. Viktor Arvidsson and Fraser Minten piled up two assists, and Jeremy Swayman made 34 saves.
Connor McDavid's point streak continues
McDavid stretched his point streak to 14 games with an assist, while Zach Hyman and Jack Roslovic scored for Edmonton. Connor Ingram made 23 saves for the losing side.
Pastrnak started the scoring early in the first period, tapping home a rebound off Charlie McAvoy's shot. Casey Mittelstadt added another, making it 2-0, before Hyman cut the lead to 2-1 towards the end of the period, assisted by McDavid.
Hampus Lindholm increased the lead to 3-1 early in period two, while Jonathan Aspirot made it 4-1, assisted by Pastrnak's setup.
A goal by Elias Lindholm opened period three, but Roslovic got one for the Oilers, before Pastrnak sealed the game with his second, making it 6-2.
