In a newly surfaced video Los Angeles Kings forward Warren Foegele took a major shot at his former teammates. The Edmonton Oilers continue to battle for the top spot in the Pacific Division as the playoffs approach. With every game meaning just a little bit more down the stretch the Oilers find themselves in a heated battle for second place in the Pacific Division with the Los Angeles Kings. There has always been a natural rivalry between the Oilers and Kings but today that was taken to an entirely new level as former Oiler Warren Foegele made shocking comments about his former club.
Warren Foegele Throws Major Insult At His Former Oilers Teammates
During an interview with the Kings social team Foegele was asked about the idea of being on a team who hates his former team. Foegele came back with a shocking response admitting that he hates the Oilers organization. I don't know, I'm part of it, like I hate them too. I hate the Oilers too, so it's just part of the game.

Foegele would go on to clarify his comments revealing that he is still good friends with Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard and loves the healthy rivalry between the two clubs. That's probably one of my best friends, Evan Bouchard, and he is caught smiling at me scoring for the Kings! That's a good friend, for sure. Foegele played three seasons and over 200 games with the Oilers which makes his comments about the organization all the more shocking. While it seems Foegele's comments mostly stem from friendly banter and backing his new team it is still shocking to hear a player say they hate their former organization. The Oilers will see the Kings twice more in the regular season and all eyes will be on Foegele to see if any of his former teammates take exception to his comments about them.
