Alexandar Georgiev, on the other hand, has struggled even behind a solid Colorado Avalanche lineup, which makes him less attractive. Up front, Max Pacioretty would provide scoring talent and veteran experience, although his age and injury history make him a gamble. Edmonton lost Corey Perry this summer, and though Pacioretty is a different player, his presence might still assist in a leadership capacity. Klim Kostin, meanwhile, would be a more familiar name. He excelled during his previous time in Edmonton, and although things didn't work out after he departed, a reunion might provide the Oilers with additional grit and depth. With camp on the horizon, expect Edmonton to stay busy rather than quiet. The roster is close, but it's not complete.
