First Bowman confirmed that he has a great relationship with McDavid's representatives. We have a great relationship with Judd Moldaver, his agent, said Bowman on Sportsnet's After Hours program Saturday night. I've known Jed for a long time and he does a great job for his clients. Then Bowman went on to reveal that extension talks have not begun between the two sides but he understands how important McDavid is to the Oilers and his extension is the team's top priority this offseason. He's the most important player we have here, so that is priority number one. We'll get to that this summer. Now's probably not the time to be talking about that, but we all know Connor is going to be here and that we're going to make it happen.
