Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid addressed the controversial goaltender interference call by the referees that took away what would have been his OT GWG against the Los Angeles Kings in last night's game.
The Edmonton Oilers were not happy after captain Connor McDavid's overtime goal against the Los Angeles Kings last night was disallowed because of goaltender interference.
McDavid pushed the puck past Kings goaltender Anton Forsberg, with whom he made contact with after Kings defenseman Drew Doughty cross checked him.
After the game which the Kings would end up winning, McDavid voiced his disagreement with the call.
I feel like I have the puck and I'm taking it to the net. I'm getting pushed in. I feel like I also kinda maybe tapped it in on the other side.

The Oilers Were Not Happy That Connor McDavid's Goal Was Disallowed
Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch also said he felt the goal should have counted.
I thought it should have counted. I thought he was driving the net, and you don't usually see that turned over. I thought he just drove the puck around the pad and beat him. I don't think there was any interference that caused that The puck was already by [the goalie], hit the post and then went in.
