NHL insider Chris Johnston suggested the Oilers may not stop at just Tristan Jarry in their goalie search, as the team could explore multiple other avenues.

Tristan Jarry is having a real bounce-back season in Pittsburgh, and with that comes a fresh wave of trade chatter.
The veteran netminder improved to 6-2-0 with a .914 save percentage and a 2.53 goals-against average after a 4-2 win over Buffalo on Wednesday, his first game since returning from a lower-body injury.

What NHL insider Kevin Weekes recently said about the Oilers' goaltending search

ESPN's Kevin Weekes reports that Jarry is one of the goalies drawing real interest from the Edmonton Oilers, who have allowed a league-high number of goals and remain in the market for help.
According to NHL insider Chris Johnston, though, Edmonton's search may not stop at Jarry. Johnston suggested the Oilers could explore multiple avenues, indicating that the team may cast a wide net rather than zero in on just one solution.
"Whether it's Tristan Jarry or someone else, I do think the Oilers have to be considering everything."

Jarry's resurgence comes less than a year after he cleared waivers following a tough start to last season. He rebounded and now carries a career .909 save percentage and a $5.38 million cap hit in the third year of his five-year deal.
While Pittsburgh was widely thought to be a seller, the team sits in a wild-card spot at the U.S. Thanksgiving checkpoint, leaving their trade intentions unclear as an aging core tries to push for another playoff run.
With Jarry sidelined earlier this month, Arturs Silovs handled most of the workload and posted a .907 save percentage; rookie Sergei Murashov has shown well in limited action.

Why the Oilers desperately need a new goalie

The struggles of Edmonton remain well-documented: Stuart Skinner and Calvin Pickard have combined for an .868 save percentage, with the Oilers sitting outside the playoff picture.
That reality has fueled debates over potential targets, including Jarry and Jordan Binnington. In the coming weeks, Edmonton's goaltending search could become one of the most closely watched stories around the league.
