Tom Wilson showing up on the Milan metro with Sidney Crosby is hilarious, and the new inside footage makes it feel even tighter.
I wrote about the earlier glimpse already, but this clip hits different because the camera is actually inside the train.
It’s Tuesday in Milan, and the vibe is pure Olympics chaos, regular commuters, winter coats, and a bunch of hockey giants trying to look normal.
You can tell the car is jammed, shoulders pressed, bags wedged, nowhere to hide.
That’s the part that makes it so relatable, even the biggest names still end up stuck in a crowd like everyone else.
The post’s caption nails it, imagine hopping on the subway and casually standing next to Wilson and Team Canada.
What’s new is the angle, you’re not seeing them from across the platform, you’re basically standing in the scrum with them.
Wilson is hard to miss in tight quarters, because he takes up space even when he’s trying not to.

Fans would call it a “good problem,” but I get why people are losing it online, it’s Milan, it’s a metro car, and it’s basically an NHL all star lineup in winter jackets.

The funniest part is how calm everyone looks, like it’s totally normal to stand chest to chest with a top line winger.
This isn’t a staged photo op, it’s real public transit, tight turns, cramped aisles, and that awkward shuffle when the doors open.
On the ice, Crosby’s 2025-26 line is still elite at 27-32-59, and Wilson’s having a big year too at 23-26-49.
If this is how packed the metro is, imagine how packed the rink is going to feel once the puck drops.
