As you probably already know, a bombshell exploded in the Montreal Canadiens environment today, as we learned that Cole Caufield's season was unfortunately over. We have to say that no one was expecting this, especially since number 22 looked very comfortable in practice yesterday. The organization finally made the decision that enough was enough and that he needed surgery. It was a difficult decision to make, especially since Caufield was playing good hockey even with a major injury. It's incredible to think that Caufield was playing so well while he was injured. We admire the strength of the young man!
