The Chicago Blackhawks lineup is ridiculous to an extent never seen in the NHL

The Chicago Blackhawks have had one goal in mind since last summer, and it's not even subtle.

The organization is desperate to get their hands on the NHL's next generation player in Connor Bedard, and they've done everything they can to rack up the losses in masses.

After trading Kirby Dach and Alex DeBrincat, they didn't qualify restricted free agents Dominik Kubalik and Dylan Strome over the summer.

They then acquired one of the worst goalies in the league in Petr Mrazek, who has a 3.80 GAA and .891 SV%.

Finally, at the trade deadline, they liquidated almost all of the remaining NHL caliber players in order to reduce the talent on the roster as much as possible.

So they traded Patrick Kane, Jack Johnson, Jake McCabe, Sam Lafferty, as well as Max Domi, in the space of a few days.

Here is the poor Hawks lineup for the rest of the season:

This is possibly the worst top-six offense an NHL team has had in decades.

Even the Habs, with dozens of regular injured players, have a more decent lineup than Chicago.

Show me you tank for Connor Bedard, without telling me you tank Connor Bedard!
