Juraj Slafkovsky's first season was disappointing to say the least. Obviously, expectations were pretty low, but many fans weren't sure that keeping him in Montreal was the best strategy for his progression. The 18 year old has suffered some injuries because he doesn't protect himself. Pair that with the fact that he wasn't playing many minutes, you can't blame the doubters for thinking he would have been better off in Laval. Now that his season is over, many are asking if he belongs in Montreal next year.
