Analyst would not wait until the summer of 2024 to acquire Pierre-Luc Dubois and he would be willing to pay a lot of money to get him this summer

On BPM Sport, Martin Lemay asked Yvon Pedneault if he would be willing to make the trade. The proposal is to trade Pierre-Luc Dubois for this year's Panthers first round pick and Arber Xhekaj. Yvon Pedneault stated that he thinks he would make this trade.
Here is the excerpt.
There are two differing opinions on the situation, and neither is considered better than the other. On the one hand, some prefer to wait until the summer of 2024, when Dubois said he wanted to come to Montreal. While this involves some risk, the Habs don't necessarily need Dubois right now, with a solid trio of centers in Kirby Dach, Nick Suzuki and Christian Dvorak.
On the other side, some people want to get Dubois this summer, even if it costs money. Since the Habs currently have a surplus of left-handed defensemen, they could use them to trade up without compromising the team's future. However, some feel that Arber Xhekaj, because of his physical presence on the ice, should not be traded.
As mentioned earlier, there is no solution that is better or worse than the other. Those who want to see Dubois arrive this year, including Yvon Pedneault, know very well that it will take a good offer to make it happen. Winnipeg will not trade Dubois for Mike Hoffman, Jayden Struble and a 2nd round pick. That would be ridiculous. Xhekaj or Harris' offer with the Panthers' first round pick could really interest the Jets. So that's a good discussion to have.
Would you do it?
