Following last night's big loss to the Panthers, Evander Kane of the Oilers spoke to reporters and blasted the officials for letting Florida off the hook.

There was tension between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers in the air last night. The Panthers staged their most aggressive Game 3 of the Stanley Final in a hot one, winning it over the Oilers with a score of 6-1.
The two clubs had banked a staggering amount of 140 minutes of penalties, of which 122 of those minutes had been clocked up in the third period itself.
Evander Kane began it early with two minors in the first period after drawing the 10-minute misconduct later in the contest. Florida never gave anything up after gaining the lead first, closing it out incrementally and dominating all evening long.

Kane blasted officials for letting Florida get away with everything

But with growing frustration in the third, things boiled over into chaos. That prompted Kane to lash out at officials in a massive post-game rant, which could lead to even further controversy in Game 4.
"I think the game obviously got out of hand at the end, that stuff is going to happen," Kane said after the game. "You look at some of the calls that were obviously frustrating. They seem to get away with it more than we do. It's tough to find the line, they're doing just as much stuff as we are. It's 4-4 (penalties) at the end of it (first) and then it gets out of hand. They seemed to be paying a little more attention to our group.

"We didn't play very well, that's evident, we don't have anybody to blame but ourselves," Kane added. "We can be a lot better."

The victory gave the Panthers a 2-1 advantage in the series. The Finals will continue with Game 4 on Thursday evening in Sunrise, Florida, at 8 PM ET.
