This evening new reports are confirming that Gary Bettman and the NHL have finalized a new media rights deal that will impact every team in the NHL. The NHL has continued to grow over the last decade particularly when it comes to television rights signing a major deal in the United States with ESPN and TNT. The deal signed and initiated by Gary Bettman has taken the NHL to new heights across the United States and increased the popularity of hockey significantly.
