Today, reports have confirmed that former Canuck and Oiler defenseman Adam Clendening will be taking his talents to Europe for the 2025-26 season. For Clendening this will actually be a return to the KHL after he played 61 games with this same organization last season registering 22 points. This time he will join former Oiler Ryan Spooner and former Canuck Alexander Burmistrov with the Dragons as they look to bring the team to new heights that have not yet been achieved in this franchise's young history. During his NHL career Clendening was mostly a depth defenseman playing primarily in the AHL. Clendening played a combined 37 NHL games for the Canucks and Oilers during his time in the NHL along with stops in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Columbus, New York, Arizona.
