Heading into the trade deadline, rumours began swirling that the Vancouver Canucks were engaging in three-team trade talks with Boston and Pittsburgh, but those talks may have back fired. <h2>Leaked trade rumours lead to trouble for Vancouver</h2> Those trade talks involved newly acquired forward Elias Lindholm, and according to Elliotte Friedman, the trade rumours being leaked got back to the former Calgary Flame, forcing the Canucks to go into damage control. <q>The Canucks did have to do some damage control with Elias Lindholm. They weren't happy it got out they even remotely considered moving him. (It was hard to tell who was angrier: Vancouver about that, or Los Angeles about speculation of who might have been involved in an Ullmark move.)
