Devastating Death of Hockey Goalie Shakes the Hockey World
The hockey world has once again plunged into mourning today as goaltender Antoine Bourdeau, only 25 years old, has tragically passed away.
It was on March 28th that the Ontario Hockey Academy (OHA) issued a heart-wrenching statement about the untimely passing of young goalie Antoine Bourdeau.

Antoine had been playing elite level hockey for over a decade
The academy used social media to express their condolences, mourning the loss of a member. Bourdeau was a high-level prospect who had been playing elite-level hockey since he was 13.
During his career, he suited up for highly respected programs including the Ontario Hockey Academy, Brockville Braves, Markham Royals, and Lac St-Louis Arsenal Espoir, which was close to his hometown of Montreal, Quebec.
At 25, Bourdeau was already a legend in more than his skating abilities, but in being a wholesome influence within hockey and elsewhere as well.
