Very worrying situation for the Washington Capitals with Alex Ovechkin
The Washington Capitals announced that Alexander Ovechkin will miss a few games due to a lower body injury.
His situation will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis. This will be a tough blow for the Capitals who already have to deal with the major loss of their number one defenseman in John Carlson.
He missed last night's practice and game against the Vegas Golden Knights, where the Capitals lost by a score of 6-2.
In 48 games so far this season, Ovechkin has 52 points, including 30 goals.
