Ever since making his NHL debut with the Edmonton Oilers, Ethan Bear has solidified his reputation as a reliable NHL defenseman. Now, as he recuperates from a significant shoulder surgery, Bear is on the lookout for another NHL contract in the upcoming season.

Bear, 26, played 251 games in his NHL career, notching 63 points and earning a special place in the hearts of fans. According to Chris Johnston, the Canucks, Leafs, Devils, and Penguins have all expressed keen interest in securing his services.

Initially drafted by the Oilers in the fifth round of the 2015 draft, Bear spent three seasons in Edmonton before being traded to the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for Warren Foegele.
