The Edmonton Oilers are in a chaotic tailspin. These struggles have led many to question the future of Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid in Edmonton.

Draisaitl Having No Fun In Edmonton

Earlier this week after yet another frustrating loss for the Oilers Leon Draisaitl spoke after the game. Amidst his frustration Draisaitl admitted the fun was starting to be sucked out of playing hockey this season.

With Draisaitl's frustration out in the open one contender has been rumored to be working the phones.

Eastern Conference Powerhouse Makes A Push For Draisaitl

Recently respected NHL insider and rumor extraordinaire Eklund found another piece of information on Leon Draisaitl. According to Eklund's sources, the Boston Bruins have come calling for Draisaitl.
My sources tell me the Boston Bruins have made several calls regarding Leon Draisaitl, and see him as their main target should Edmonton decide, or should Leon Draisaitl decide, the road is coming to an end in Edmonton.

With the Bruins lacking a lot of top-end prospects, this could be roster players and draft picks trade largely. One would have to think the Oilers would try and get electric rookie forward Matthew Poitras.
A trade certainly isn't imminent but look for the Bruins to be in on Draisaitl if he becomes available.
