RDS Hates Kirby Dach, and Fans Aren't Happy!

The 21-year-old is still trying to establish himself in the NHL, but several good offensive flashes suggest that Kent Hughes made a good move in acquiring him.

On the other hand, as my colleague William Nadeau of Habs & NHL reports, there seems to be a completely different picture of Dach's situation on RDS.

For the past few days, if not weeks, several statements about number 77 have not been unanimously approved on the "L'Antichambre" show.

In fact, Benoit Brunet had some pretty harsh words for the young forward.

However, according to the statistics, Dach is having an excellent start to the season and there is nothing to suggest that he is not involved in the game, as Brunet would have us believe.

Several people on Twitter have expressed their displeasure with this situation regarding the centre.

This week, it was the same with Gaston Therrien, who has already made his share of controversial statements in his career as an analyst.

It makes absolutely no sense to consider putting Dach in the press box, when you still have Mike Hoffman, Christian Dvorak, Evgeny Dadonov, and several others who bring strictly nothing to the team, which is not the case with the former third overall pick in 2019.

It's quite possible that this finding is purely coincidental, but it's still strange that Kirby Dach is getting so much criticism at RDS, when it's not at all the case everywhere else.
