Filip Mesar Was Scratched Last Night, and Twitter Got Very Angry!
As reported by my colleague Keven Mawn of Fanadiens, a rather surprising piece of information came out Friday night regarding Montreal Canadiens prospect Filip Mesar.
His junior team, the Kitchener Rangers, left him out of the game against the Erie Otters.
Having had a hot start in the OHL, racking up seven points in three games, this healthy scratch Mesar decision has caused a lot of chatter on social media.
The lack of information about this from the Kitchener training left everyone in total disbelief.
It was only much later that an observer explained that the 26th overall pick of the Habs was sick and could not play in the game because of a virus.
Finally, it's not just in Montreal that communication is not always optimal!
