After a scary incident in his first-ever NHL game, The Pittsburgh Penguins have confirmed rookie John Ludvig has sustained a concussion after being left unconscious on the ice.

Coach Sullivan on the status of John Ludvig: «He's been diagnosed with a concussion. We will see how that goes, I'm not sure I can give you a status other than that.»

The confirmation is unfortunate for Ludvig, as he went from living out a childhood dream to out with a concussion in a matter of hours.
