Patrick Roy is getting closer to an NHL coaching job according to Lebrun
With the recent success of the Quebec Remparts, there is no doubt that Patrick Roy is starting to interest some NHL teams. And it's a good thing, because many of them have a head coaching position to fill.
Casseau has already mentioned that he would probably not be back in junior next year and that Simon Gagné would be his successor. It's safe to say that he will be going out the door this time.
It's confirmed.
As Pierre LeBrun mentions, Roy has hired a new agent, veteran Gil Scott. This new partnership is intended to help Patrick in his steps towards a return to the NHL.

This is major news and shows how serious it is. Roy wouldn't have hired an agent if his intentions weren't towards the NHL and if teams hadn't contacted him.
