Hockey is the one sport in which Canadians take the most pride. We are passionate about supporting team Canada and live, breathe, and sleep the sport. Unfortunately, the game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Seattle Kraken will take place at the same time as the World Junior Championship game tonight. Mitch Marner, the standout forward for the Toronto Maple Leafs, voiced his disappointment at not being able to witness his country compete for the gold. <q> Sucks tonight we don't get to watch the gold medal game for Canada ... (Bedard) has been special. What a talent. How he finds the ice ... A lot of skill, his shot is unreal. His work ethic, his compete on pucks has been great to watch.</q> The skill and the magic of Connor Bedard have astounded Marner and the rest of Canada. Even if he won't be able to see it live, Marner will probably face Bedard in some difficult games in the future.
