Major announcement for Patrick Roy
Patrick Roy has officially announced that he will not be returning to the Québec Remparts. He has truly won everything in the QMJHL, and his return to the NHL would already be confirmed, were it not for his end of the road with the Avalanche.
Now that head coaching positions are filling up in the NHL, Roy had one last chance to make a comeback with the Senators.
Rumours had it that the team's new owner was desperate to see Roy behind the bench, but we'll have to wait and see.

Which is to say, if Patrick returns to the NHL this season, it will be as an interim after another coach is fired.
