Canadiens announce two major hires
With the Habs the most injury-plagued team of the last two seasons, Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton had their work cut out for them in terms of targeting and fixing the problem.
A step in that direction has just been taken, with the announcement of two new hires.
"Two new hires in the sports medicine department:
Jim Ramsay is named Director of Sports Medicine and Performance as well as Chief Athletic Therapist, while Maxime Gauthier becomes Chief Physiotherapist."

From what Frank Seravalli reports, these are major hires for the CH, especially in Ramsay's case.
"Head athletic trainers don't usually make the news in the NHL, but Jim Ramsay leaving the Rangers after 28 years to go to the Montreal Canadiens is a big coup for Jeff Gorton and his team. He's widely respected as one of the best in the business."
