Minutes after announcing the trade sending Jeff Petry to Detroit, Kent Hughes held a press briefing via the zoom platform. The general manager made a point of saying that he had told Petry that he wouldn't spend his time scratching around for the maximum in a trade, and that he would do everything in his power to deal him as soon as possible.
