It's really fantastic! We finally got some good news about Logan Mailloux in the last few days. After a year and a half, we can officially say that it's all behind him.

The defenseman hasn't stolen his NHL credentials. He worked hard on himself and was well supported. In fact, he had a very powerful message for the fans, which he delivered in French.

"I want to thank all the Canadiens fans who have supported me for the past year and a half and who have stuck with me. You have helped me. I know it hasn't always been easy, but I really appreciate it. Now I just want to bring the Stanley Cup back to Montreal." - Logan Mailloux

Now that's clear! The young man is very grateful for the support of the fans, and has only one goal in mind: to win in Montreal, nothing less!

If you're wondering why Mailloux speaks French, it's because his grandfather is French-speaking and he took French lessons for quite a long time. In fact, it was very important for him to get back into the french language.

"My sister and I went to elementary school in French. In her case, she also did her high school in that language, whereas it lasted until eighth grade on my side. When I was drafted by the Canadiens, I immediately went back to my lessons of the time. I wanted it to come back quickly.

"I want to be able to chat with all the Canadiens fans once I get to Montreal."

- Logan Mailloux

Mailloux is quickly coming across as a very respectful and generous young man. He'll be much loved in Montreal if he keeps that attitude, and with good reason. In fact, he believes in his chances of making the team this year and is ready to fight to earn his place with the team.

Thanks to the excellent Anthony Martineau for another superb article.
