Last minute change for the Montreal Canadiens

Jonathan Drouin will play his first game of the season on a line with Jake Evans and Mike Hoffman. As for him, Evgenii Dadonov will play with Kirby Dach.

Samuel Montembeault will have the tough task of blocking Alex Ovechkin's shots. In defence, Kaiden Guhle may have to miss the game. A decision will be made before the game in his case. If he cannot play, he will be replaced by Corey Schueneman.
