Johnny Gaudreau shut down the fans in Calgary in hostile return
On Monday night, Johnny Gaudreau and the Blue Jackets visited the Flames in Calgary. This game marked the return of number 13 to Calgary.
Of course, leaving as a free agent leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of the fans. Not only did Gaudreau leave the organization, but he did it as a FA, without the Flames receiving anything in return.
Although Johnny was not the only one to blame in this story, it is reminiscent of the John Tavares story on Long Island and fans are still booing him.
Gaudreau shut them up in the best way possible, with his talent. Indeed, the small forward served a gorgeous pass to Patrik Laine to bring the score to 2-2.
The Flames still showed a lot of class with a nice video tribute to what he accomplished with the team.
