Jack Campbell was once one of the NHL's most sought after goaltending free agents, but after a horror run in Edmonton, things couldn't be going any worse for him.

A dreadful start to his run with the Bakersfield Condors

Since being waived and ultimately demoted to the AHL, Campbell has made three starts with the Bakersfield Condors, and unfortunately, it couldn't have gone any worse, as Campbell's stats are worse than they were in the NHL.
In those three starts, Campbell has allowed 13 goals on just 59 shots faced, good for an .819 save percentage, and with the team 0-3 in those games, things aren't looking good for the 31-year old.

Edmonton Oilers to buy-out the veteran goaltenders contract?

Just 18-months after signing a five-year, $25 million deal, it appears as though the Oilers are looking to buy-out the veteran's contract, as this will save them some money moving forward.

Ultimately, there may be another team ready to take a chance on him, or if he can turn it around, the Oilers may once again need him, but unless things change in a hurry, it appears his time in the NHL could very well be over.
