Golden Knights Take 1-0 Series Lead After Overtime Win In The Western Conference Final
After missing the playoffs for the first time since joining the NHL last season, the Vegas Golden Knights have returned to the Western Conference Final, this time facing the Dallas Stars.
Vegas has been impressive so far, eliminating the Winnipeg Jets and the Edmonton Oilers. However, the Dallas Stars will likely pose their biggest challenge in the playoffs.

The Stars scored the opening goal of the series, but the Golden Knights managed to tie it up. They then took a 3-2 lead, until Jamie Benn tied it up in the final minutes, forcing overtime.
In overtime, the Golden Knights scored a bank shot goal off Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger, courtesy of Brett Howden, giving the Knights a 1-0 series lead.
