Frank Seravalli Reveals Odds On Favorite To Be Calgary Flames Next General Manager
The Calgary Flames are an interesting team with all the necessary components to be contenders. However, they have underachieved under the guidance of head coach Daryl Sutter.
To the satisfaction of many, Sutter has been fired by the Flames. Unfortunately, the Flames waited too long to make this decision, resulting in General Manager Brad Treliving stepping down due to his inability to work with Sutter.
Now, the Flames' management must swiftly find a new general manager, considering the upcoming draft and free agency.
According to Hockey Insider Frank Seravalli, it seems that the Flames may have already identified their desired candidate. Seravalli revealed that former NHL player Craig Conroy is the frontrunner to become the new general manager.
This news comes as no surprise, given Conroy's impressive NHL career, particularly his time in Calgary. Known for his strong work ethic and positive attitude, Conroy appears to be a perfect choice to succeed Treliving.
