Former Stanley Cup Champion Unretires and Signs Pro Contract
Former NHL star goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin has agreed to the terms of a season-long contract with Torpedo in the KHL.
Khabibulin, who turns 51 on January 13, hasn't played professionally since the 2013-2014 season with the Chicago Blackhawks.
In 799 NHL games, Khabibulin maintained a 2.72 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage.
Khabibulin is also Torpedo's goaltending coach.
