McDavid Speaks Out Against Referees in Post-Game Interview
Following Edmonton's 2-1 win over Chicago, reporters asked McDavid about the no-goal call that occurred during the game. McDavid appeared frustrated with the entire process and openly criticized both the referees and the NHL for their decision.
"If it takes you 15 minutes to determine if it's offside or not, it probably doesn't matter you zoom in, you keep zooming in until you can't zoom in any more, I guess it's offside... these are calls that change games."

As an Oilers hater, he's absolutely correct. I don't care if my team would benefit from it; some of these offside reviews defy logic and the spirit of the rule. Set a replay speed, establish a time limit—if you can't determine it within those parameters, then it shouldn't matter.
Perhaps the NHL will finally heed the call for much-needed changes now that their star player has openly addressed the issue.
