It was the last day of the NHL Combine, and the directors of the 32 teams were able to scrutinize a hundred or so young hopefuls on several fronts.
Connor Bedard is the favorite, no doubt about it. The young man literally flies across the ice, but raw talent isn't the only reason he's so successful.
He works hard, and in fact, a photo of him at the Combine has been compared to none other than Martin St-Louis when it comes to legs.
Let's face it, they really are tree trunks, and that's a credit to him. The kid's in shape, not just about!
