"We had talks with the Habs, with Kent, for a month/ month and a half before Cole's injury and before his surgery.
We should continue our discussions in the coming weeks now that the trade deadline has passed.

That's very nice to hear, as negotiations will resume very soon.
Let's hope the organization can come to a long-term agreement with the CH's number 22. Another outcome is that this could become catastrophic in the long run for the organization in terms of payroll.
At least with Kent Hughes as GM, with his many years of experience as a player's agent, there is possibly no other person more qualified than him to get the best deal for the Habs.
